Hello!
Thanks for stopping by. If you’re looking for some help getting started on your strength journey, or want to take your strength to the next level, or even get really competitive in Olympic Weightlifting or Powerlifting, I’m here to help! I love strength training and I’m excited to help you find the strongest and most powerful version of yourself. I’ll meet you where you are, tailor a plan to meet your needs, and I’ll make sure that you leave the gym feeling better than when you walked in every time.
I love working with beginners and people with more complex obstacles to finding their strength as much as I love working with strength athletes who want to elevate their games and dominate on the competition platform. Click the link below and we’ll chat about where you want to take your strength journey.
My Story
I became a personal trainer in 2006 after losing over 100 pounds (inspired by a deep desire to be a better role model for my two tiny daughters) and realizing how much better life gets when you feel strong, capable, and confident. What started as a personal transformation turned into a lifelong passion for helping others—especially those who feel stuck or unsure where to start—build strength from the inside out.
I’ve coached clients of all levels, from complete beginners to national-level athletes, and worked with people facing complex challenges around health, identity, and motivation. My approach blends the science of strength training with a deep interest in human behavior and psychology. Because getting strong isn’t just about the gym—it’s about finding the best version of yourself.
As a coach, educator, and writer, I seek out every opportunity to advance my skills. I regularly pursue advanced training, attend conferences, and stay current with the latest research so that my clients get programming and support that’s both effective and sustainable. I’ve taught seminars, written for top fitness publications, and led workshops focused on technique, injury prevention, and mindset.
I believe in meeting people where they are, tailoring every program to the individual, and creating a space where strength training feels empowering—not intimidating. Whether you’re looking to lift heavier, move better, or rebuild your relationship with your body, I’m here to help you build real, lasting strength.
